Family Medicine
The Family Medicine clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC is a 6-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Students will rotate with primary care faculty who are solely dedicated to community and family medicine.
Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in the most challenging and complex Family Medicine cases.

General Surgery
The Surgery clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC a 12-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics and private practices.
The surgery rotations will grant every student an excellent experience in general surgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery, and trauma.
Students will make rounds with faculty all of whom have busy surgical practices.
Additionally, students will participate in daily and weekly rounds and have the opportunity to be involved in the most challenging and complex surgical cases.

Internal Medicine
The Internal Medicine clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC is a 12-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Internal Medicine Clerkship comprises of 3 weeks of generalmedicine, and subsequent specialties thereafter. Students rotatewith faculty clinicians in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Teaching faculty physicians at the GMCC clinical campus have specialty board certification in internal medicine, pulmonology, nephrology, hematology/oncology, cardiology, infectious disease (including HIV medicine), neurology, and more.

Obstetrics / Gynecology
The Obstetrics & Gynecology clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC is a 6-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices. Students can expect to work with 7 to 10 patients a day and participate in deliveries over the course of their rotation.
In addition, students will observe and assist faculty in labor and delivery and in gynecologic surgical cases.

Pediatrics
The Pediatric clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC is a 6-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices. The rotation is divided into inpatient and outpatient components.
Each student spends four weeks working with faculty in one of the GMCC host hospital centers or their private practice.
Students can expect to work with over 10 patients a day.

Psychiatry
The Psychiatry clerkship at the clinical campus administered by GMCC is a 6-week program during which students undertake clinical training at recognized teaching hospitals in California.
Students rotate with dedicated clinical faculty at GMCC host hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
The rotation is divided into three blocks of two weeks.
Each student experiences four weeks of training with an outpatient attending physician and two weeks of training exclusively with a mix of inpatient and outpatient.
